Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
You have to cancel within 7 days of the planned pickup/delivery to get a full refund
How do I change my reservation?
You will have to contact us via email: minirent@minirent.is and inform us about the changes you want to make
Can I extend the rental period after it starts?
Yes, if our stock allows and the extension does not interfere with other bookings it is possible to extend the rental period.
If you would like to or need to extend your booking, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make arrangements in regards to other bookings.
An extension of booking is always subject to our approval and stock status.

Can I pick-up/return products at night time?
Please contact us via email minirent@minirent.is to see if we can arrange after hours pick up.
When do I get the products?
The products will be handed over to you on the first day of the rental period. If you need the products earlier please make sure you book accordingly.
The same goes when returning the products. They must be returned on the last day of the rental period.
How do I return the item?
You can return the products to our office located at Vesturvör 32b in Kópavogur between 09:00 and 16:00 (9am-4pm) on weekdays and 09:00 - 14:00 (9am-2pm)on Saturdays.
Please note that the products must be returned on the last day of the rental period.
What happens if the product gets damaged?
If you purchased the optional Damage Insurance you are covered for damages up to 50.000 ISK! In the unlikely event that the cost for repair/replacement of the damaged product is more than 50.000 ISK you will need to pay the difference.
If you did not purchase the Damage Insurance and the product is returned in bad condition, for example broken or
damaged, MiniRent reserves the right to charge up to the full cost of the product. The
same applies if the product is stolen or lost during the rental period.
We'll do our very best to try to reduce our financial loss in the previously mentioned cases
and if possible, try to repair damages. In cases where repairs or buying spare
parts are available we'll take that into account when making a final
settlement.

Is there a cleaning fee?
No, all products are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between customers and the cleaning is included in the rental price.
However if a product is returned unusually dirty, if there are stains that is difficult or impossible to remove, if there is a odour (for example cigarette odour) that is difficult to get rid of etc. a fine of 5.000 ISK will be charged.
